Anthony French is an avid freelance motorsport fan and writer. His writing began covering the 2012 Formula One season for the MoonProject online newspaper, and has since expanded to include MotoGP, the premier bike racing category in the world. Ant covered aspects of the maiden BRDC Formula 4 Championship in 2013 and made his first press-accredited trip to Donington in September that year to cover in person the championship finale. Along the way he secured interviews with title contenders Matty Graham, race winner Matt Bell, eventual Champion Jake Hughes and series founder and former Formula One star Dr Jonathan Palmer.
His earliest memories of motorsport are of the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix – an incredible introduction to the sport that has survived and endured down the years.
Ant is available for freelance articles on various motorsport categories, including F1, GP2, GP3, Formula 4 and Moto GP. His interests spread further than motorsport and additionally he writes articles for various audiences on the subjects of space science, technology and exploration.
