Stefan Bradl has confirmed he will race for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing squad in MotoGP from 2015 onwards.
The German, who has competed for LCR Honda since arriving in MotoGP at the start of 2012, was ousted from LCR after it was announced Cal Crutchlow will join the one-bike team from Ducati at the conclusion of 2014. Yet within days Bradl had panned a deal to in turn replace the outgoing Colin Edwards at NGM Forward, with the American retiring at the end of the year.
Giovanni Cuzari, Team Owner of the NGM Forward Racing outfit, commented, “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Stefan Bradl to our team. We believe that Stefan is a strong rider, that our package will suit his riding style very well and we look forward to start this new cooperation. Moreover, Germany represents an important market and it’s important to have a strong German rider in our line up.”
