Williams FW36 shows off ‘anteater’ design

Williams have followed in the steps of Formula One rivals Force India and released preview images of their 2014 car, the FW36, including the first shots of the controversial ‘anteater’ nose and front wing arrangement exploited by many teams to gain aerodynamic efficiency.

The rendering, featuring Williams’ trademark all-blue sponsorship free testing livery, depicts the first ever Williams car to be powered by a Mercedes engine, after the team broke off their relationship with Renault at the close of 2013.

The FW36 will be driven by Valtteri Bottas and Brazilian veteran Felipe Massa.
