Barcelona Day One – Rosberg fastest


The 2013 Williams FW35, to be driven by Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas, made its track debut today.

Full list of times and laps completed from day one at Barcelona, where Nico Rosberg was fastest for Mercedes.

Fernando Alonso completed the highest number of laps in his Ferrari as he bids to make up the time in the cockpit lost by his absence in Jerez, while Red Bull looked to have made a step forward that allowed Sebastian Vettel to set 4th fastest time. Williams debuted their new FW35 which Pastor Maldonado took to 5th. Mclaren’s Sergio Perez set his fastest time on the harder Pirelli compound.

Tomorrow, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton will drive for their respective teams Mclaren and Mercedes, while Fernando Alonso continues his workout for Ferrari.
