Force India launch VJM06 – but no 2nd driver yet

Force India have become the fourth different team to take the wraps off their 2013 contender after they launched the new VJM06 at Silverstone this morning.

Although Paul Di Resta was present, no clue was given as to the identity of the elusive second driver at the team as deputy Team Principal said that was ‘a choice for shareholders to make.’ Some will question the wisdom of leaving the decision so late in the run up to what promises to be a hyper-competitive season.

One man who is not likely to be in the VJM06 this year is Jules Bianchi; the Frenchman was seen at the Maranello launch of Ferrari’s F138. This seemingly leaves the door open for German Adrian Sutil to return to the squad he left at the end of the 2011 season.
